Tonight was Christmas Eve! The air smelled sweet like pine needles and warm sugar cookies. Your child felt a bubbly tickle of excitement in his tummy, waiting for morning. Suddenly, he heard a strange sound from downstairs. Thump. Scrape. Jingle! Your child looked up when his father, Dad, came in. "Papa, what is that sound?" your child whispered loudly.
Names shown above are placeholders. In your copy every "your child" becomes your child's real name, and Dad take their places in the story.
